Good results for the School of Paris last sale, on March 21rst.
Global amount for this sale: € 755 000
One third of an important serie of works by Kremègne was sold, among which some sales well above expectations and a world record for "Le violon bleu" at € 58 400.
Works by the pole artist Moise Kisling did sale very well as usual, despite their hard subject like "Myriam" ( sold €191 300 ) or "La romaine" ( sold €70 800).
To be noticed also two great auction battles for two nudes from Pascin: €44800 for "Carmen" and no less than €10 300 for a single work on paper.
For sure the russians buyers' absence in this sale did lower the global result - specially for Artists like Mane-Katz, Kikoine, Aronson and Kremegne - Still, we had online many collectors from Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania !
I hope to see you at the next School of Paris' sale.
